Open Canadian Canoe

The Canadian canoe is a lightweight, mostly open-top boat, where you sit or kneel to move forward with single-blade paddles. Canadians, like kayaks, are a type of canoe, and depending on model and design, have sufficient space for baggage and passengers.

Whether you’re an experienced paddler looking for a new club, or you paddle for fun and just want to try something different, you’ll find us friendly and inclusive.

Get in Touch with the Section Leader – Shaun Bower at opencanadiancanoe@vikingkayak.co.uk if you would like to try Canadian Canoeing.
